Spilled! is a game independently created by Lente, who actually spent time making this game inside a boat. This has been success backed by Kickstarter and full game has launched last March 27, 2025.
You play as a boat cleaning up spilled oil and trash in different bodies of water while collecting cute animals. Not a ton of backstory or challenges that require a ton of braincells–just you cleaning up the damn ocean in this pixel-perfect cozy game. Better played with controllers because keyb controls are terrible.
Spilled! is just an honest to goodness short game that can be finished within an hour–understandable as it’s also a debut game. Its beauty is in its simplicity though. Albeit having that itch.io vibe, this game has nice pixel graphics and cozy music, and generally shows promise if you’re the type of person to support independent artists/devs that contribute to society. Unlike the other game featured in this list, this game actually pledges $0.10 per Steam sale to Whale and Dolphin Conservation, which is a registered charity in UK. So why not, right?
But that is that. This game doesn’t really offer a lot in terms of customization or upgrades or challenges, and I’m sure you won’t remember playing this after a while. It just feels nice to play when you need to destress. This can be purchased on Steam for only P209.95.
